meet me
Hi I’m Tom, a Cambodian-American freelance photographer, filmmaker, and editor from the United States, who currently resides in Tokyo, Japan. Since moving to Japan in 2017, I have studied both film and photography at Temple University Japan Campus, and worked in a creative agency where I further strengthened his skills.
In 2022 I had the opportunity to shoot professional sky runner, Ruy Ueda, as he beat the Guiness World Record for fastest contiunous run on all four trails of Mt. Fuji, as well as shootng in the the North Pole for AE Networks for the series Save the Beyond (2018~). I also worked with L’Oreal to develop ideas for cultural content for their chinese market.
my style has been described as punchy, atmospheric, and pleastanly kitsch.
Currently, I am pursuing narrative filmmaking in both comedy and drama. As well as working on a photo-documentary about immigrants working in restaurants.
